BioXOmics

Are you struggling with the complexities of your omics experiment?

Do you require publication-quality outputs?

Look no further.

BioXOmics is here to assist you.

In the intricate world of omics research,

it's not just about generating data, it's about understanding its significance. While data generation is an essential step, many researchers find themselves daunted by the challenge of translating raw numbers and patterns into actionable insights. This is where we shine.

At BioXOmics, we recognize that the true power of omics lies in the interpretation of results. Our unique strength lies in our ability to transform complex omics data into clear, meaningful biological interpretations.

We don't stop at providing you with graphs and statistics; we go further to answer the crucial questions: What do these findings mean for your research? How can they shape your next steps? Our team of experienced bioinformaticians and biologists excels at bridging the gap between data and understanding.

We have a passion for uncovering the 'why' behind the 'what.' With our expertise, you can trust that your research will not only yield valuable results but also meaningful insight that drive your discoveries forward.

Our Work

Every research group requires a different kind of analysis or wishes to explore various aspects of the transcriptome or proteome. We are ready to accommodate any request, even the most unconventional color layouts, if it aids the biological interpretation. Here is a brief example of statistical analysis for a transcriptomics dataset obtained from the GEO database.

We employ PCA analysis to assess differences between samples, providing an estimation of the strength of phenotypic variations.

Image

Upon request, we conduct a differential expression analysis between two treatments, identifying genes that are statistically significant and likely contributors to the induced phenotype.

For a visual representation, any differentially expressed genes or gene sets can be illustrated in a heatmap, offering insights into the individual differences between samples in the observed gene set.

Image

Furthermore, gene ontologies of differentially expressed genes, both upregulated and downregulated, can be presented side-by-side or separately. If desired, the graph may include parent and child terms.

We enjoy experimenting with diverse means of data presentation. For instance, the gene ontologies of upregulated genes can be visualized in a bubble plot, showcasing their relationships.

Similarly, the gene ontologies of significantly downregulated genes demonstrate their relationships, distances, and pathway enrichments within the presented gene ontologies.
